Member SurveysAs part of our mission to promote, develop and improve health sciences library services and strengthen collaborative and network relationships in the State of Ohio, the region and the nation, OHSLA conducts surveys of its membership and others. We use the results of these surveys to help us understand how to further provide a forum for the exchange of ideas among individuals who provide health information. We also use survey results to provide opportunities for continuing education and professional development. The results of our two most recent surveys are posted below. Please contact us if you have any questions about the surveys. SWOT AnalysisIn order to provide an organization with an opportunity to accurately assess its position in a particular market, a SWOT Analysis identifies needs, potential problems, and issues. It plays an important part in strategic planning. The OHSLA SWOT Analysis, completed in Spring 2017 by Debra Orr, Charlotte Sievert, and Jennifer Feldman, will allow OHSLA’s Executive Committee to report our most recent survey results to the membership in an effective way. The following link is a PDF of the presentation: SWOT Analysis, 2017The Spring 2017 OHSLA Voice will include an article about the Analysis which will be presented at the OHSLA Spring Meeting on May 5, 2017. |
