Session 2: Tending Your Print Garden: Weeding in the Digital Age

With Libraries building robust electronic collections, what is the need for print books and journals?  How do librarians decide what to keep and what to weed?  This presentation will provide some pointers on how to approach weeding projects.  It will discuss how weeding helps with collection management for both print and electronic formats.  Please come prepared to share your own weeding experiences and what was learned.
